We are seeking a tech-savvy, energetic, and target-oriented Mobile Phone Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be the primary advisor for customers seeking the latest in mobile technology, including smartphones, tablets, wearables, and accessories. You will be responsible for guiding customers through product features, troubleshooting basic technical queries, and matching them with the perfect device and service plan to suit their connectivity needs. Key Responsibilities
Consultative Selling: Engage with customers to identify their communication needs, recommending the ideal mobile device, data plan, and accessories to enhance their mobile experience.
Product Expertise & Demo: Conduct engaging demonstrations of smartphone features (e.g., camera quality, OS navigation, security settings) to showcase value and guide purchasing decisions.
Customer Lifecycle Management: Assist customers with device setup, data migration (transferring contacts, photos, and apps), and basic troubleshooting to ensure immediate satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Sales & Promotions: Proactively meet and exceed individual and store-wide sales targets, effectively promoting new product launches, trade-in programs, and service upgrades.
Inventory & Visual Merchandising: Maintain the store floor by ensuring demo units are operational, clean, and neatly arranged. Manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure all stock is accurately priced and labeled.
After-Sales Support: Handle customer inquiries, provide clear explanations of warranty terms, repair processes, and insurance options, ensuring a seamless post-purchase experience.
Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new software releases to provide authoritative advice and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in sales or technical training is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience in retail sales, specifically within the consumer electronics or telecommunications sector, is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and the ability to explain complex technical specifications simply.
Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
Proficiency in identifying hardware/software issues and providing basic technical solutions.
