JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Account Manager (KAM)
Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Key Account Manager (KAM) to oversee and grow our most important client relationships. You will be the primary point of contact for our key partners, responsible for driving long-term value, maximizing revenue, and ensuring that company products/services are perfectly aligned with the client’s strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain high-level, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within your portfolio of assigned accounts.
Revenue Growth: Take full ownership of sales targets and profit margins for your accounts. Develop and implement "Account Plans" to identify and capture upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Business Development: Proactively identify new business opportunities and expand our footprint within existing key accounts.
Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations regarding pricing, trade terms, contracts, and promotional investments to ensure a "win-win" outcome for both parties.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations teams to customize promotional campaigns, product launches, and supply chain solutions specifically for key accounts.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies, and client business challenges to provide strategic insights and proactive solutions.
Reporting & Forecasting: Analyze account performance against KPIs (Sales, Profitability, Market Share) and provide accurate monthly/quarterly business reviews and sales forecasts to management.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields. MBA is a significant advantage.
Experience: 4–6+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Sales, preferably in FMCG, Retail, Technology, or B2B sectors.
Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in high-level contract negotiation and managing complex commercial relationships.
Analytical Thinking: Expert ability to interpret financial data, market reports, and sales metrics to drive strategic decisions.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively at the C-suite or management level.
Attributes: Strategic mindset, resilient, highly organized, and an excellent problem solver.
Language: Fluency in Vietnamese and proficiency in English (for international accounts/reporting).
